John Boyd Textiles
John Boyd Textiles is one of the last remaining horsehair weavers in the world, proudly continuing a heritage that dates back to the early 19th century in Castle Cary, Somerset. Founded in 1837 by Scottish textile merchant John Boyd, the company played a key role in the town’s rich weaving history, pioneering the production of durable horsehair fabric.
