PRODUCTS
Your order is an offer to us to buy the product(s) in your order. When you place an order to purchase a product from us, we will send you a message confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order (the "Order Confirmation"). The Order Confirmation is acknowledgement that we have received your order, and does not confirm acceptance of your offer to buy the product(s) or the services ordered. We only accept your offer, and conclude the contract of sale for a product ordered by you, when we dispatch the product to you and send e-mail or post a message on the Account area of the website confirming to you that we've dispatched the product to you (the "Dispatch Confirmation"). If your order is dispatched in more than one package, you may receive a separate Dispatch Confirmation for each package, and each Dispatch Confirmation and corresponding dispatch will conclude a separate contract of sale between us for the product(s) specified in that Dispatch Confirmation.
You consent to receive sales invoices electronically. Electronic invoices will be made available in the Account area of the website. For each delivery, we will inform you in our Dispatch Confirmation.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our fabrics that appear on this website. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any colour will be accurate.
We reserve the right to limit the sales of our products to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products that we offer. Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalogue may be mispriced or mislabeled. We will verify pricing when processing your order and before we take payment. If we have made a mistake and a product's correct price is higher than the price on the website, we may either contact you before dispatch to request whether you want to buy the product at the correct price or cancel your order. If a product's correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and send you the product. Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.

PRODUCT MEASUREMENTS
It is your responsibility to make sure that the measurement for the made to measure products are 100% accurate. There are measuring guides provided on the site to enable you to take the measurements accurately. We cannot accept any returns for these products if you have provided incorrect measurements. There may be some cases where these products can be altered, any costs involved with this, including postage, will be additional to your original order.
TOLERANCE
Our products are made to measure by highly skilled professionals who will endeavour to be as accurate as possible within a variance of +/- 3cm. We cannot accept the return for products if the finished sizes are within this tolerance limit and you will not be entitled to reject the goods.
LIGHT EXPOSURE AND FADING
Please note that exposure to light, particularly sunlight, can cause most dyes to fade over time. This process is natural and varies depending on the fabric, dye, and conditions. The primary cause of fading is sunlight, but artificial light can also contribute to colour degradation. Certain colours, especially pastel shades, and fabrics such as silk are more prone to light damage.
To protect your curtains and blinds from the harmful effects of light, we strongly recommend:
- Using blinds or sheers to shield fabrics from direct sunlight.
- Considering protective window films for areas with strong sunlight where blinds or sheers are not practical.
- Lining or interlining all curtains with high-quality lining materials. For blinds, we recommend blackout lining for added protection.
Roman blinds, in particular, are susceptible to fading along the folds where light exposure is concentrated. Similarly, the leading edges of drapes are vulnerable to colour fading due to sun and artificial light exposure.
Important: None of our fabrics are guaranteed against fading. As such, preventative measures are essential to prolong the lifespan and maintain the appearance of your window treatments.
PRODUCT CANCELATION AND RETURNS
For items purchased directly from Britannia Rose, you are entitled to a 100% refund for any order cancelled within the cooling-off period. After this period, in some instances we may issue a partial refund covering the value of the order minus any costs already incurred.
Made to measure items are tailored to your specifications and are very unlikely to be resold. For this reason, we are unable to offer refunds on these products unless they are faulty or have not been made to the specifications provided. If this is the case, you must contact us within seven (7) days of receiving the item and we will do our best to resolve the issue.
Cut length fabrics are also non-returnable, as these are cut specifically to your order and cannot be resold. Please ensure all measurements and selections are correct before placing your order.
Britannia Rose allows third party sellers to list and sell their products at britanniarose.com. Where issues occur, we will endeavour to communicate with the seller to help resolve any problems. While Britannia Rose helps facilitate transactions carried out on the Britannia Rose Marketplace, Britannia Rose is neither the buyer nor the seller of these items.
Accordingly, the contract formed at the completion of a sale for these third-party products is solely between the buyer and seller. Britannia Rose is not a party to this contract and does not assume responsibility for it, nor do we act as the seller's agent. The seller is responsible for the sale of their products and for dealing with any buyer claims or other issues arising from the transaction.
For most non-bespoke products bought online, you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days and receive a refund. However, you would need to cover the cost of return shipping.
The cancellation and return rights set out above apply to consumers only. Where products are purchased by a business, trade customer or other non-consumer customer, no statutory cooling-off period applies unless required by law.
We may, at our sole discretion, agree to accept the return of standard stock products from business customers. Any such return must be authorised by us in advance and the products must be returned unused, unopened and in a resaleable condition.
Approved returns from business customers may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25% of the purchase price, together with any applicable return shipping costs. The applicable restocking fee will depend on the nature of the products returned, the condition of the goods and any costs incurred by us in processing the return.
Custom-made, printed-to-order, cut-length and bespoke products are non-returnable except where faulty or otherwise required by law.
