Behind the Brand: MINDTHEGAP
A Celebration of Eclectic Style
MINDTHEGAP is a bold, independent design house that has captured the hearts of interior lovers with its exuberant, eclectic approach to pattern and print. Founded in Transylvania, Romania, MINDTHEGAP was created by a team of free-spirited creatives with a passion for storytelling through design.
From its earliest collections, the brand made a name for itself by daring to be different. Drawing inspiration from art, history, folklore and cultures from around the world, MINDTHEGAP weaves a rich tapestry of motifs, colours and textures into fabrics and wallpapers that transform ordinary spaces into extraordinary ones.
MINDTHEGAP Today: Maximalism with a Twist
Today, MINDTHEGAP is known globally for its vibrant, layered designs that invite you to embrace a more adventurous way of decorating. From exotic botanicals and whimsical animals to vintage maps and architectural sketches, each pattern feels like a treasure trove of stories waiting to be discovered.
The brand’s fabrics are crafted with meticulous care and often feature lavish velvets, natural linens and rich cottons that feel as good as they look. With a strong commitment to quality, all designs are produced in Transylvania using traditional printing and weaving techniques combined with modern innovation.
MINDTHEGAP encourages a fearless mix-and-match philosophy: clashing colours, bold prints and luxurious textures come together to create interiors bursting with personality and charm.
